EXOcellar
Wine Cabinet
Category- MS Architectural technologies
Location- Sao Paulo, Brazil
Year- Fall 2025
Type- Collaboration with Juan Jose Lopez
ExoCellar started with the study of prosthetic detailing in design. The context for the intervention was Paulo Mendes da Rocha’s Millan House. From this investigation, the project evolved into a wine cabinet — imagined as a prosthetic element inserted into the space.
The cabinet was fabricated entirely from laser-cut steel sheets, assembled and welded by hand. The final piece merges mechanical precision with architectural mass, operating as both a functional object and an extension of the structural language of the house.
